Medium Plenty’s client was a start-up innovation hub creating tech opportunities for underserved communities. They had acquired an industrial warehouse in West Oakland originally built by American Steel. The goal was for a dynamic and multi-faceted space executed on a budget and on a short timeline. Solutions included the wood-clad communal kitchen and custom furniture elements designed to activate the space and create endless configurations for collaboration.
